Moving to a new country is a heady mix of excitement and mystery. While ploughing your way through French bureaucracy, yes, France is famous for it, you also want to settle in and connect with people. Plenty of groups and associations weave through and connect English-speaking communities. Yet the pub is also a place to eat and drink and mingle with newfound friends, to bring your visiting family to enjoy a cornerstone of your new social life. And we do that extremely well here at the Auberge du Noyer.
Our Meet and Greets have provided a space for new people to meet new people, and the not-so-new [many of our previous meet and greeters book in to chat with newbies and share their experiences]. Whether you are moving to France in the future, have moved recently, or are a 2nd home owner, there’s a warm welcome here for you!

Generally, meetups start at 7 pm – so you can either book in to eat first [dining starts at 6 pm] or join fellow meet and greeters over a drink.
